Lol, I was gonna make a thread just like this only dedicated to Christmas lights. I'll post some pics as soon as I'm not lazy enough to take them.

My family had a fake tree for a year or two before my brother and I finally got sick of it enough to go out and buy a real tree ourselves.
But a little story about Xmas trees... It might of been before I was even born, my parents got a tree one year, the kind that still has the routes on it. After that Christmas, they planted it on the side of my house. Today, it stands taller than the house (which is two stories). I like to tell people, "See that tree? It was a Christmas tree in our house one year." Here's the best part about, it might end up in the house again! My dad was thinking about taking it down, so I suggested to cut the top of it off and use it as a Christmas tree again. It'll probably happen next year. I just think it's funny that it will have been in the house twice.
