So I got a 7800, but I'm getting a snowy picture and static sound. I've opened it up and tried adjusting the RF alignment, it helped a bit but not much.
I know they can prob be modded, and my dad is an electronic tech but I'd really like to hear something easier first.

Are you using a switch box? Try a phono to F connector adaptor instead.
