How am I using 10GB a month in bandwith just through my avatar and the pictures in my account which total up to around 47MB?

I would imagine every instance of your name on a thread page will generate a unique load. Then just figure how many views there are of any given thread. It adds up fast.

That video is kinda ridiculous. Seriously though, I vastly prefer to switch out the rechargeable batteries on my 360 controller to plug in the ps3 controllers. The cords we have are a bit too short to reach to the couch. That's also the reason I need to find some extensions for my Dreamcast controllers.

Seriously, though - would you stop people in Wal-Mart about to buy the Nintendo DSi because - oh noes! - it has an internal battery?

Hell, most people see that as a selling point. Thank God I don't have to deal with mountains upon mountains of batteries anymore! I know that's how I was looking at the DS when it first came out.
