Or a good Red Steel game
Red Steel was developed by Ubisoft Paris.

Was it the new (back then), dark atmosphere that turned you off? I know that pissed off a lot of people back when it was released.
It's obviously not a failure. Just look at the sales. But then again Nickleback sells tons of cd's and they suck.
The Wii is meh in my book. The only games worth a damn are the Mario games and most of those are Gamecube retreads. Wii Sports is cool too. However waving your arms around like an idiot doesn't make it a good game. I'll always buy the PS3 or 360 version of any game if it's available because the Wii is always inferior.
I just bought 10 Gamecube games because those are the best "Wii" games. Just plug in your Wavebird and you're golden.
kingmohd84, I understand you and agree with you. It's annoying how everyone fails to understand what you are saying, isn't it?
The Wii is a success, financially. Massive fucking success there and no one can argue against it. The Wii is a great console for simple, family friendly fun and many people love it. I don't think kingmohd84 was trying to argue against this at all. He was looking at the Wii for what it actually is.
The Wii is barely better than the Gamecube. Besides a minimal increase in graphics, and motion controls that only work well for a small handful of games, there is nothing new or special about it. Meanwhile, the PS3 and XBOX 360 give us huge jumps in graphics and resolution and expanded online features.
The vast majority of the Wii's huge game library is pure shit but if you dig deep enough you will find a few gems. They won't have cutting edge graphics or great netplay however, so it's disappointing in that regard. Hell, how many online Wii games actually let the players communicate? Not many, last I checked. It feels more like random computer AI to me. A big part of playing games with others is being able to talk while you do it.
The Virtual Console is inferior to emulation on a PC. However, the emulation on the XBOX 360 and PS3 is better since they often update the games for HD resolution and add proper netplay to them.
I own a Wii and do enjoy playing some games on it from time to time. It's just disappointing to still be playing with last generation's technology, that's all. Nintendo's portable systems have always been behind technology-wise and now it's the same for the main console. I am a retro gamer like everyone else here but I'd prefer better graphics and netplay if possible.
If you read all that and still don't understand the point, here is another way to explain it: What if instead of releasing the Wii, Nintendo simply sold us the Gamecube again, and all they did was barely increase the graphics? Would you consider that a success or a failure?
tl;dr Comparing the Wii to the Gamecube is like comparing the DSi to the DS Lite. It's a very small improvement in some ways, and a step backwards in others.

I thank you...
The Wii didn't deliver, the Wii's power capacity is not being used-Graphics wise or Motion control wise.
