Games That Have Better US Titles
Re: Games That Have Better US Titles
I never really cared for Biohazard or Rockman. I always thought the US names were appropriately cheesy. And the first is full of special forces going to places where the Residents were...well...evil (as all zombies are inherently evil). And Rock Man never sounded to me like it had anything to do with robots. It also sounds cool when you're 12. Like "Ultra" man, "Astro" boy, and "Power" rangers. Rock man just sounded like a lame super hero who was made of rocks. I think the only way I'd be content with the name Rock man, is if he was someone like Gitaroo man, who whips out a guitar and blasts aliens to save the universe.

Rock Man is sorta like Gitaroo Man, actually. There are other Rock Man characters named Bass and Forte, to go along with the musical theme. The other meaning behind the name Rock Man is the rock, paper, scissors way of using the correct weapon against the enemies. Mega Man sounds cooler by itself, but it has no special meaning behind it's creation like Rock Man does.(-_-) wrote:I never really cared for Biohazard or Rockman. Actually, I believe the full title was: "Hey Punk Are You Tuff E Nuff? Master the Moves to Master Me!" Lmfao...Ack wrote: What, you didn't like Tuff E Nuff's full title, "Hey Punk Are You Tuff E Nuff?"
And to whoever said it was a decent fighter for SNES I pose this question: Do you enjoy broken fighting games? It's so bad it's good, I admit, but it's a very broken system that when playing with people who actually learn the ins and outs of systems it's laughable, sadly. =( I don't even think there was push back on heavy hitting (meaty) moves in the corner and you could stun lock into tick throws all day. Though, I can see where you're coming from, because there are several games that are way less tolerable on SNES.
