THanks for posting that....I was debating hardcore on if I wanted to just download it and try it, and now...I know that I will. I love the original but this looks awesome. To bad they didnt release it as a hard copy though.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

That looks SO awesome! I'm really liking all of these "retro revival" titles that are coming out.

New Bonk, Rocket Knight, 2D Sonic, and now this! I really need to get a Wii so I can play this... I'm trying to convince my wife to get me one for Christmas.

I wish there was a way to get a physical copy of any of these virtual games (360/PS3/Wii). I'd pay an extra $5 or so for a disc/case. I wonder if one day they'll ever offer that option. =P

This game is so tempting...

If you guys like Excitebike, I would totally recommend Trials HD for XBLA. It's not a racing title, but more of a dirt-bike physics platformer. It really reminds me of Excitebike for whatever reason... maybe the controls, I can't quite place it.

The only downside to World Rally is that the multiplayer is online only.

I second this recommendation. Also, Trials 2 through Steam, which is basically the same game. It's insanely difficult though.
