I'm looking for a book scan for Judi Barrett's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Mininova is "legit" now, demonoid is down, and I couldn't turn it up on isohunt. Help?
As I've made mention of on the boards before I am currently teaching high school in South Korea. Earlier in the year I taught Where the Wild Things Are, and the level ended up being just right. The pictures were great as well, so now I am interested in teaching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and other famed picture books during an upcoming winter camp.
I'd like to have a scan of the book to be able to display using a projector. Also if you know other books that might be fun to teach drop me a line. And of course if you've got questions about teaching in Korea, I can answer those as well.

Ah, crud... My copy of the book fell apart last month and I had to throw it out (it was pretty old - like 1970s old!) Too bad it couldn't hang on for a little longer, and I could have scanned it for you! It should be pretty easy to find and order online, unless they won't let you (you're in Korea, right?)
Anyway, that is a very good book, and hopefully someone else here has it lying around to be scanned. Another good book that I remember is "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day" - that one will be fun to teach, and will probably get you a couple of laughs, because of all the terrible things happening to this one kid in a single day!

I'll ask my wife to borrow a copy from her school library. Might be a few days before I get to scanning it. Feel free to PM me if I haven't gotten around to it.molotovwars wrote:I'm looking for a book scan for Judi Barrett's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
