Is this a rare/valuable game?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Fair enough! I'll make it a project this week to get them out. As laughable as it may be...

I'm noticing the quality seal is missing on the left cartridge. But again it maybe because it was the bundled edition.

But I doubt it's rare ...

funny thing i have exactly two copies of the the game and its exactly like you have in your picture. one with the nintendo entertainment print in the middle and one with it on bottom of the lable. my guess is one of them came with the system when it first came out. if im right the system came with duck hunt and mario. i figure that one is the one without the quality seal and the "NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM" print in the middle.

I have seen plenty of these and unfortunately they are not "rare". While there may be less of them out there than the one you are used to seeing, their value remains the same. It is just a variation on the label, actually a few NES games have these (Dragon Warrior is the only one I can think of off the top of my head).

I actually had 3 different mario/ducks

the 2 you have infront of you, and then I got real anal and started looking and found one of them even had a different font size. Honestly I think you will see alot of different crap from back then just for the fact games were not nearly as huge as they are not. hell...ps1 final fantasy miss print even.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

I have a copy of Mario/Duck Hunt without the Nintendo Seal and the dark blue borders, it's 100% official and came with my Dad's NES when he bought it in '88-'89.

To be honest I always thought that the blue border Mario/Duck Hunt carts looked cooler, but I can attest to you that it is 100% just as worthless as any other Mario/Duck Hunt cart out there.
