Went to the flea market today and picked up a Turbografx-16 with a Turbo Tap, Turbo Booster-Plus, two controllers, and a bunch of games.

Splatterhouse - loose
Alien Crush - complete
Bonk's Adventure - complete
Victory Run - loose
Dragon's Curse - loose
Dungeon Explorer - loose
Ninja Spirit - loose
Bloody Wolf - loose
Neutopia - loose
Galaga '90 - complete
The Legendary Axe - complete
Keith Courage in Alpha Zones - complete
I also got the case and manual for Takin' it to the Hoop.

All for $55. After looking online, this seemed like a great deal for the system and everything that came with it. Any Turbografx-16 aficionados want to weigh in on this purchase?

I almost picked up a mint condition R.O.B system for the NES as well. The guy wanted $60, but I usually can talk him down on his prices quite a bit. If he still has it next weekend, I may grab it. :D

Nice fucking score JFE! Too bad about the ROB, while useless it looks hot in any NES collection.

Damm really, really nice price on the TG16.

Great haul. Neutopia is a great Zelda clone. Ninja SPirit is much like the NES Ninja Gaiden Games. Alien Crush and Bonk are good games too. The Turbo Booster plus (which will save games) is probably worth $55 alone. Even a TG-16 with all those games would have been worth the $55.

Yeah I was pretty upset that I didn't have the extra cash for R.O.B. I was amazed to see one complete though, and in the wild too! Usually they are broken and in shit condition, and never have the discs.

Yeah, I had never really heard of the Turbo Booster-Plus before. I saw it attached and asked the guy what it was. He said he thought it was just part of the system, so he included it for free.

Another booth at the flea market had a Turbografx-16 for $100, with two controllers, but no multi-tap, R-Type, Keith Courage, and a nice hard plastic case. I may go back in the some time in the future to see if they will break up the bundle and sell me R-Type and the case by themselves.
