GP2x; not made anymore, quite a good system but underpowered a bit. Played some emulators well, but one thing or another tended to be a compromise a bit.

No-one mentioned the other GamePark system - GP32 ? Not had one of those, older system, had a good following.

The Game Boy as a handheld is like TLoZ: Ocarina of Time for the N64. Everyone knows it was the best so we try to talk about the best of the rest.
Thanks everyone...

The Game Gear is actually better than Game Boy, it had a big color screen, and u can control the brightness/contrast. Plus it has so many great games. It's so underrated.

What good does the TV Adapter do you now after the conversion to digital television? It's been made entirely obsolete.

Finding DESIREABLE games complete with the box and instructions is getting harder to do every day.

I had a ton of GG games, and yet I really have no desire to replay any of them now.

i really can't say if the gamegear is all that great. its fun and has color but the game library is kinda bad, you need 6 batteries that are easily eaten up anyways, if not batteries you need to plug it into a wall....making it not so portable, and speaking of portable, its kinda big. note that i am not saying its the worst system of all or anything because in truth i really like the system (power rangers anyone?).

yeah Power Rangers was good actually. But like I said, I generally would play a GG title for a little while. Then the batteries would die. And it'd sit in a drawer for three months. Get new batteries. Repeat. I really never had the same connection with it as I did with GB.

Wow, just posted a gushing rant over MOTM in another forum, now I have to do it over here.

NGPC hands down. If not only for the click stick. Metal slug, MOTM, the last blade, hell why would I mention anything other than the awesome fighters on the system?

MOTM needs tournament play.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?
