online cosole play how do i hook it up and best games?

I tried to download on my ps2 slim today with metal gear solid 3 and it said something about configuring with a cd i'm lost?so it got me thinking how do i hook up my consoles to the net?I have ps2 slim xbox dreamcast and game cube.and also what do you think are the best online games for these consoles?
GOT,ps2 chiped,,game cube sliver,x box,dream cast,n 64,ps2 slim,ps2 slim,game boy sp X2 tribal and black,game gear,saturn(no tv lead),xbox 360,xbox 360 chipped,snes.master system 1and 2.

HAD BACK IN THE DAY vic 20,sega master system,nes,mega drive,super nes,atari st,amiga 500+,ps1,gameboy advance.

You need the Online Configuration CD before you go online.It should have came with the slim ps2.

Wait are you telling me someone out there has own server of MGO (from MGS3)?

No I do not have a mod chip in my ps2 slim.Would also like to play my xbox and dreamcast online.

I would say skip Dreamcast online, most of the servers are shut down to my knowledge.

Xbox you need to pay for Xbox live, but there are still around 1000 people on at anytime playing Halo 2, which is quite fun.

I hear a lot of people still play Socom Combined Assault on PS2.

I have the regular PS2 and no internet adapter (they are like 50-60 bucks, which could probably just get me a slim) so I don't know how good PS2 online is.

If you buy an X-Band modem, you can play your SNES and Mega Drive online also!!! Did you know that your Saturn can go online as well?

Sounds like its not worth the effort to try and get my consoles online
