Could you show some pics?fast wrote:I went black for Dreamcast and Saturn, White for Cube and Wii, and Red for PSX. But I am doing my covers a bit different - spine, front logo, and then just text info on the back.
What color of DVD cases should I use for Saturn games?

I know this might sound stupid, but I think that blue would be good for Sega game cases.

How do I get a homemade DVD with a photo slideshow to play on my TV? I have burned a DVD with music and photographs and it will not play on my TV - only my computer. Can someone please tell me if I have done something wrong or does my DVD burner need to have something that it doesn't?

IIRC, Nero has the ability to make slideshow DVDs. You could slap the photos in Windows Movie Maker and burn the video to a DVD.nabaraski wrote:How do I get a homemade DVD with a photo slideshow to play on my TV? Wow, this thread was bumped. Just to update, then, I have made a bunch of custom covers for my Saturn games, including Japanese games. I can post them later if someone wants to see.

Egads Jfrost, I forgot to post an image. As soon as I am done with this commission Ill get some pictures up.
Here is one that I made for a PC Engine game:

I figure we look at the spine 99% of the time, why waste all the ink for the full cover? It is for a full sized dvd case, but the sides are white so come up as nothing here. Its not as pretty as the big fancy ones, but it gets the job done.

I finished the commission late last night - so now to find my camera for this dvd case thing. I did find a guy who tinkered with a series of cases that I am enthralled with:

One of my buddies I am talking to on gtalk disagrees with me, he doesnt like the faux leather, and is eying this series:

The covers look great, fastbilly. I'm not big on the faux leather myself, but it looks good regardless.
The second series is cool as well, but doesn't seem to have as much of a "standard".
