Games that use your own music to create the experience/level

Post by Mr. Stripe »

I only know of two and I don't know how to search for games like this on the internet.

Here are the two I know about (I don't care on what format)

Audiosurf (PC, also an installment on zune hd)
Song Summoner (iPod, iPhone)

Can anyone think of any others?

Almost Rez, but not quite.

Oh, and if you like music games, there is a little student created game called Synaesthete that is way too good to not play.

You can't use your own MP3 collection, but the music is good, the game is free, and it's an absolute blast. It's sort of Berzerk meets Guitar Hero, played on computer keys.

Beats for PSP uses songs from your memory stick's music directory to make a DDR type rhythm game. It has a weird music sequencer too. Pretty fun.

You know when you burn Sega CD games you can add your own soundtrack. I made a Lords of Thunder with Slayer songs.
