Favorite game intro movies

Adventure titles have the best openings to me:
Broken Sword -
Full Throttle - - I liked this one so much I bought the band whos music was played through the game just for this song - Gone Jackals: Bone to Pick. Decent album if you like the style.
Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis - - Interactive opening done right (from the cd version).
Curse of Monkey Island -
Day of the Tentacle -
The Dig - - the German is Steven Blum (Spike from Cowboy Bebop) and the main character is the T-1000.
Sam and Max -

Though I will say that I really liked this one, more than the game itself:
Final Fantasy IX -

And Chrono Cross has an excellent score for the opening:

Mechwarrior 2, I've thought this was one of the most badass intros since I first played it back in whatever year it came out.

I forgot how good the opening to Full Throttle is. I wish Lucas Arts would finally re-release that game through Steam or GOG.


I just watched the opening to Tales of the Abyss and now that melody will be stuck in my head all day again.

I thought the Quake III intro movie was pretty good. With the transition to actual footage from the movie, It lets you know exactly what the game is about. (this vid has the ending credits too)
