Favorite game intro movies

Some people skip past the game intros, but I love a good intro. They get me excited for the game. Here's some of my favorites, what are yours?

I love most of the Shin Megami Tensei intros:
Digital Devil Saga
Digital Devil Saga 2
Nocturne

Zone of the Enders 2 (Beyond the Bounds is such a great song)

And of course the classic old school cinematics of Ninja Gaiden (NES)

Final Fantasy VIII and I am also found of Broken Swords.

SMT: Nocturne's intro is one that I've watched more than any other. No reason to link it twice, but yeah, it's my favorite intro. Super Metroid is also up there, as well as Parasite Eve and FF8.

Namco X Capcom. Any fans of Namco, Capcom or Dead Leaves will get a kick out of it.


Persona 3. It's got tons of style, which is all an intro needs anyway.


MGS3:Snake Eater. Love the James Bond styling of it, and it has a lot more meaning to those who've played through MGS3.

Haunting Ground.

Any of the Silent Hills games. The openings aren't remarkable on their own, but the always do a fine job of setting up the game itself (and isn't that the purpose of the opening movie?).
