Yet he's spread-eagle flashing his crotch. Very European.

Aside from TMNT there's this. Notice the Seal of Quality is specifically protecting us from the point of his kunai as well.

Yeah, good old Europeans and their fear of Ninja. Apparently, they feel that Ninja are not appropriate for children's programs. I blame this on the long time influence of Viking culture on Europe - you know, history's first Pirates.

As for the Nunchaku, that was banned in many parts of Europe altogether. Illegal to possess and illegal to broadcast. In Soul Edge, nunchaku were replaced with a three-part staff.

Oh look. It's Ninja Ryuukenden (Dragon Sword Story). I always thought it was weird how they changed the Japanese title to a different Japanese Title for the American version. "Gaiden" doesn't even make sense since it means "Side Story". You don't call the main series of something "Gaiden". Silly translators...

I always wondered the same once I learned what it meant. I'm sure some silly marketer just thought it sounded cooler, while being shorter than the Japanese title. Although you have to laugh at the Famicom Dragon Ball game being renamed to Dragon Power considering the popularity it gained later.
