DOSBox mounting help.

Post by blackmagepwns »

I just downloaded dosbox and I've been playing with it trying to figure it out, you see I want to play Elder Scrolls 2 Daggerfall, but I've been having a hell of a time mounting the C drive, or whatever you're supposed to do.

Anyone have any links to guides? or any personal help to offer?

Would appreciate it greatly. 8)

Since you said c i gather your using windows. Type

Mount C

then whatever folder you would like

I made a folder and use C:\DOSGames

So for me it is

Mount C C:\DOSGames

If you are under mac, you can do the same thing, except you aren't going to direct to C, but rather your home folder, so you could make a DOSGames folder in your home folder, then type this to mount said DOSGames folder.

Mount C ~:\DOSGames
