Worms is so awesome, then Moustache was so disappointing. I haven't checked out the other album because of the disparity. :?

+1.

I first heard of Mr.Oizo via pandora radio. Loved, loved Worms. Moustache fell flat for me, just didn't enjoy it. Won't give up though, that's just the artist breaching out.

Have you heard "Evil Nine feat. Aesop Rock - Crooked". You should if you haven't and the video is cool. I was wondering if the Aesop albums are somewhat similiar. Obviously the music bits could be different, but I meant to check them out.
Yeah, his albums are a little different from that, but there are similarities.

My favorite Aesop Tracks are:

Panorama 6b:
Basic Cable:
No Regrets:

Aesop's one of the greatest lyricists of all time.
My contributions to the Racketboy site:
Browser Games ... Free PC Games ... Mixtapes ... Doujin Games ... SotC Poetry

Here's some stuff I've loved over the past couple years and I'll also mention some great stuff that previous posts reminded me of

Nishwish-Once
Nightwish-Dark Passion Play
Kamelot-The Black Halo
Ayreon-The Human Equation
Ayreon-01011001
Iced Earth-The Glorious Burden
Iced Earth-Framing Armageddon
Iced Earth-The Crucible of Man
The Secret Meeting-Ultrashiver
Collide-Two Headed Monster
Curve-Gift
Muse-Black Holes and Revelations
Michael Jackson-Invicible(His most underrated work)
Dethklok-The Death Album(I have mixed feelings about the second one)
Anything Tool has put out.
Dark Tranquillity-Damage Done
Dark Tranquillity-Character
Dark Tranquillity-Fiction
Hybrid-Wider Angle
Everything Coheed & Cambria have done I have enjoyed
Evanescence-Fallen(People love to hate on them, but it was a good album)
Metallica-Death Magnetic(just because it seems like the band found its balls again)
Ultraspank-Progress(totally forgot about this album til someone here mentioned it)
And since someone mentioned Lamb, I started digging their stuff after hearing that song in the Tomb Raider Underworld commercial
Trobar de Morte-Fairydust
Mercenary-11 Dreams
Sentenced-The Funeral Album
Jag Panzer-Thane to the Throne

I could go on and on. Listening to music is pretty much all I do at my job.

Curve-Gift
How is this compared to their older stuff? Dopplegänger and Cuckoo are excellent, but I thought Come Clean was a bit uneven.
Ultraspank-Progress(totally forgot about this album til someone here mentioned it)

Haha, me on both of those. I thought the first Ultraspank was ok, but Progress was excellent (I heard the latter first from a friend). A little bit of metallic crunchiness with undustrial underpinnings. A little melodic, a little scream-y. Its too bad they were on a major that considered them a poor seller which probably broke them up. Though I thought I read they didn't really get promoted properly either. I had long stopped listening to the radio and they're a little out of my normal genres and information routes.

Wish Lamb wasn't on extended hiatus. Really awesome stuff when I'm in the right mood.

Ghosts of the Great Highway- Sun Kil Moon
Amputechture- The Mars Volta
Rush in Rio- Rush
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas- Godspeed You Black Emperor
Orphans:Brawlers, Bawlers, and Bastards- Tom Waits

Can't think of any others with out repeating artists. You could probably add one of porcupine tree's albums in there.

Yeah, Progress is the only Ultraspank album I'm familiar with. Pretty much liked it for the reasons you mentioned. I don't mind a little industrial from time to time and many bands I like are very melodic with their music. In fact, I used to hate Death Metal until I started hearing some of the more melodic death metal bands out there and then it just clicked for me.

Lamb has a very interesting sound. Very different from a lot of mainstream music out there. I'm a sucker for non-mainstream female fronted groups.

Curve's Gift is definitely better than Come Clean. It's a much more mature album. Dean Garcia, who was one half of Curve, worked with Karin from Collide to create a group called The Secret Meeting and released the Ultrashiver album. Might be worth your time. I heard Toni Haliday actually has another album she's working on solo too. She's got a myspace page up with samples I think

Tim Exile - Listening Tree
Bogdan Raczynski - Alright!
Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Született
Lamb - What Sound
cEvin Key + Ken "Hiwatt" Marshall - The Dragon Experience
Panacea - Underground Superstardom
Panacea / Needle Sharing / Tarmvred - Panacea Shares Needles With Tarmvred
Mindless Self Indulgence - Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy
Conjure One - Conjure One

Orbital - The Altogether
Hybrid - Wider Angle - Special Edition
Amon Tobin - Supermodified
Ultraspank - Progress
Scorn - Greetings From Birmingham
Pitchshifter - Deviant

Mr. Oizo - Analog Worms Attack

I expect 2 or 3 people to nod their head in agreement at some of the choices, a few others to wonder how some of those fit in the list, and most people to be sitting there going "who?"
You have the same taste as my Fiance.

You might check out Silverfish and Meg Lee Chen.

If the idea of Drum n Bass with actual vocals sounds appealing, check out Kosheen and Breakbeat Era.
Curve's Gift is definitely better than Come Clean... The Secret Meeting - Ultrashiver
Listened to a few tracks, adding both to my want lists. :)
