Well, I decided to go with Dokapon Kingdom ($19 with tax at gamestop) as it combines two things I know my gf likes (mario party esque board game style and causal rpg action). Why don't girls like run n guns?

On VC, I have my N64 and my saturn still hooked up to the tv. So, no need to buy mario kart 64 and hesitant about buying BB as I bought a JP copy of Saturn Bomberman and 1 multitap (though being in english might help playing it, basically if I get any wii point for xmas I am buying it). Same goes for Dungeon explorer

I opted for Mario Kart 64 since it is MUCH easier to buy a new Gamecube controller than a good N64 one. Sure the feeling is not 100% the same, but it is close enough that most people dont care. I still think it is the best Mario Kart.

Dungeon Explorer is a fun one with others, it gets tiresome by yourself.

Yeah I have 3 n64 controllers now. I am trying to trade a buddy of mine for some of his games and controllers. But still I like Double Dash the most. Really liking Dokapon kingdom. I only care for rpgs that don't take themselves seriously. And this game is that. So far only me and the gf have played it. Though I don't think I could convince everyone to play like I can bomberman.

I bought Dokapon Kingdom from Fry's for $3.48 new and they had a ton of them last time I was there. If you guys want that game you should check out there website and see if they have it in your area.

just add to cart then put in zip and it say which store close to you have it.

Nice topic. Parties at my place always seem to come back to Wii Sports and Mario Kart Wii... but I've found some other good multiplayer games.

Dokapon Kingdom - Glad to hear you enjoy it. I'm a big fan too because the game is silly but still takes some strategy to succeed. More complicated than MarioParty, and probably a little bit less interactive. Makes a perfect drinking game (assuming everyone playing is old enough). Anyone who hasn't tried this game should DEFINITELY take advantage of that Fry's deal!
BlastWorks - If you like shooters, this is a really neat game. It allows 4-player simultaneous play, and you can also create you own stages or download what others have created. Even better: it's extremely cheap.
Boom Blox - Mostly turn-based but lots of fun. Great because there are many different ways to play and they are almost all fun.
Rayman Raving Rabbids - Recommend either the first game or TV Party. The downside of the first one is that you need to beat the main game before unlocking multiplayer minigames... but that can still be fun taking turns with friends. In TV Party you can play multiplayer right out of the box (but quite a few games are still turn-based).
Mario Kart Wii - Probably the best party game I've played. I'm not a huge fan, but everyone I know loves the game.
Mario Strikers Charged - Great sports game that doesn't take itself too seriously. A lot of action and special powers, quick pace, and the ability to play in teams? Pretty good choice for multiplayer.
Samba de Amigo - Limited to 2 players, but each player can use 2 remotes... does that sound like something you want?
Elebits - (Haven't tried multiplayer, but it claims to support 4 and would probably be fun.)
De Blob - (Haven't tried multiplayer, but it claims to support 4 and would probably be fun.)

WiiWare:
Tetris Party - It's Tetris, you know what to expect.
Jungle Speed - Great party game, simple fast and fun. You can have up to 8 players if you have enough Nunchucks.
Driift Mania - A small-scale racing game that is surprisingly addictive. Definitely best as a multiplayer title though.
Defend Your Castle - Starts out slow, but is a lot of fun with four people after things start to speed up. The ability to let people jump in and out of the game at any time is nice too.
Mobashi - Neat interactive puzzle game, where your performance affects the people beside you. Only for up to 3 people but still worth mentioning.

I live in KCMO there are no frys near me (and they won't ship any of the super cheap titles).
