The "What's This Worth?" Thread
I was curious about the value of a couple items, but realizing these threads pop up all the time, I thought I'd start a single thread where anyone could ask the worth / value of something? Depending on how it goes it might also serve as some sort of reference for items not easily available on http://www.vgpc.com or other sources.
So my questions:
Sealed NIB copy of Super Street Fighter II for the Sega Genesis (NSTC-U)
Eliminate Down (Sega Mega Drive) - people are trying to sell them complete for around $400 on eBay and one recently sold for $150 complete, but in less than perfect condition. Any other figures to go by? Any guesses on cartridge only?
Sega Saturn Twin Sticks (Japanese - In Box with a Japanese copy of Virtua On)
For those viewing this thread, before posting your question you might be able to find an answer among one of the following reference sites:
www.videogamepricecharts.com
www.amazon.com (these prices are also tracked above at vgpc)
www.half.com (these prices are also tracked above at vgpc)
www.ebay.com (view completed auctions)

These are fairly common and don't command a huge price. You might bet $30-40 plus shipping for them, but I think that's about all you can expect.Sega Saturn Twin Sticks (Japanese - In Box with a Japanese copy of Virtua On)

True Breetai but with that shipping they usually go for $75-100 over here. Ive seen them as low as $50 but you can always get one for about $90

As far as the twin sticks are concerned I can pick up a pair for about $25. If a forum member were interested I could pick up a pair, though money seems tight around the forums these days. And something like twin sticks would definitely be a splurge.
Breetai, have you ever heard of something called a Datach Joint Rom System:
http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/fc/datach.html
I came across 2 of these today, brand new in the box. I can get them for as cheap as $10 maybe, and there are some in ebay stores for $60 or $70, though none in completed auctions. Probably no demand. Do you see them much in Japan?
I can also get a Panasonic Q Gamecube for around $150, though it wouldn't have the box.

Well then... except me to post a set soon!fastbilly1 wrote:True Breetai but with that shipping they usually go for $75-100 over here. Ive seen them as low as $50 but you can always get one for about $90
I'm guessing that $75-100 is with shipping. If not... then damn! I'd probably go $40 plus shipping. Then again, I don't recall exactly what I've seen them for here. I think they're pretty cheap.

here is one for you, a power glove, without the censor bar? just the glove, i bought one for 5 bucks and went online and amazon has the glove by itself for 70 something bucks, which doesn't seem right, so if anyone knows, that would be great!

How about a Saturn version of Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition NetLink version?
Ow! My small intestine!
Re: The "What's This Worth?" Thread
I recently picked up Virutal On twin sticks for my Saturn, with the Japanese version of the game itself, for $70 shipped. Most of that price was shipping!
