If you count the lifetime sub that barely lasted a year plus the collector's edition... about $230 IIRC for Hellgate London.

Buy Mushihime Futari this last week was my most expensive. I only buy a handful of games a year now so spending $120 on one isn't that big of a deal.

Well Collector's was about $80 shipped and I think the lifetime sub was $150 or so. I can't remember. I kinda don't want to after the whole fiasco with the game dying and the servers beign turned off so quickly.classicgamer5 wrote:$230 for a game!? Nocturne was about 90 when it was still really hard to find, and just recently Jack Bros which with tax in Chicago was about 100 dollars

The most that I've spent was $80 on Panzer Dragoon Saga, but that was a pretty good deal.
Re: So...what is the most expensive game you have ever bought?
I paid $70 for Pokemon SoulSilver at Nekocon... which was utterly ridiculous since there was only one dealer selling it and they could set whatever price they wanted. The game would probably have been cheaper if I had ordered it from Play-Asia.
Other than that, I think the second most expensive game I bought was one Super Famicom game (can't remember which one, I think it was a Sailor Moon or Gundam game) for $60, and it took almost 3 months to come in the mail. That was about 7 or 8 years ago, back when Buy Rite Video Games was still actively ripping people off!

like $66 bucks for earthbound, and then $40 for ffvii.
For the most part I never buy games new at retail price, I always got my parents to get me the new stuff. But I remember buying some GBA games new, but I cant recall how much those were at retail.
