Yea, I spent a lot on RE5 as well. Not sure what I'm going to do about it when Alternate comes out. I don't mean to go off tangent, but I think Sheva is one attractive character in a resident evil sense.

Yep average price was 29.99-39.99 the N64 was mostly 49.99 I don't remember game $80 though.

Actually, when you factor in DLC on FREAKING LAUNCH DAY, I think most modern games are inching closer and closer to the 100 dollar mark. Whether you get the regular editions and then pay for the DLC or get it already included by buying expensive special editions

I'm starting to hate DLC. It's like, here's some stuff we could have put in the game, but hey, we'd rather screw our consumers over instead.

I agree, especially for PS3 games. Its BLU RAY and you still need to DL more content

I'm thinking really hard. I think that the most money I have ever personally spent on a single video game for myself was about $20 for Super Mario RPG. I think I've bought games as gifts for others that were a little more than that, though. Also, I've had a couple of games purchased for me that were more expensive.

Some games retail at $29.99, 39.99, and 49.99 when they release, just not CoD or anything.

None of my Neo Geo games were this much, since I bought them all years after they were new.
