The why did you come back in answered in the first post, although indirectly.

You came back for Mexican food?

My girlfriend and I are looking into this JET program to teach english in Japan, and will know for sure what we are doing after we visit her relatives there, so I have a lot of questions, but I won't ask them all right now. However, I am having a hell of a time trying to learn Japanese and was wondering if you learned the language at all, or how that works over there?

My best friend is in JET and has been living in Hiroshima for almost four years now. He's enjoyed it, but gets a little homesick now and then. He's coming to visit this month and he said the same thing, first order of business is to go to Moe's and get Joey Bag of Donuts! :D

Did he learn Japanese before going, or did he pick it up when he got there, or how did that situation work out for him?

Not sure I understand. Are you implying that it isn't "real" Mexican food, or is there another Moe's franchise?

Moes is texmex. Extreme texmex. If you want a more traditional burrito, but still fast food, Chipotle is the choice. Still you cant beat hole in the walls.

I'd say Moe's is one bastardization step further than tex-mex. I still like it-- I like Taco Bell as well. It just doesn't pop up on my radar at all when I think "Mexican".
