Mass Effect

Post by SpaceBooger »

I created my character not knowing how he would sound and he looks nothing like his voice... kinda how Mike Tyson didn't match his squeaky lil voice.

This is annoying me almost enough to make me want to give up and start over.
Anyway now that I am 6+ hours (which is a lot when you have 2 kids under 2 running around) into the game is there any way to change the look of my character?

Wear a helmet and some armor. I don't think you can alter your physical appearance.

Since there hasn't been a save editor released despite high demand since the games launch, I'm afraid I don't think that such a thing exists. You could try poking around your save file with a hex editor though.

The way I would do it is to make a new game and character, then make another new game and character with one element of his appearance altered. Something fairly simple (IE not colours/skin tone or something like that) then compare the two save files, hopefully, the files will be very similar and you should be able to find the differences after a while. Then it would be a matter of making a backup and altering the values.

Good luck.

I remember starting Saints Row 2 with a friend. We made an asian chick with the spanish(?) voice actor. This was highly amusing for about the first ten minutes of the game. About an hour in, we couldn't play it anymore because we found the voice so frustrating.

I did a similar thing in Saints Row, I made this really fucked up humpalumpa looking dude, orange skin, green hair, short and fat. Just for kicks. Ended up spending my time doing the insurance scam jobs because it was so funny. I couldn't take the story missions seriously at all.
