Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Welp, I'm home from the war.

Nothing too exciting today. Came back empty-handed

The best deals I saw were Need For Speed: Shift and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for $25 each at Walmart. And then Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for $20 at Best Buy.

Fairly disappointing

I picked up a 1TB WD Essentials USB drive from Target for $59. Now I can put my Wii games on the hard drive.

I also got a shop vac from Home Depot for $20.

I didn't go into GameStop because I already have a huge backlog of games to play. There's no sense in adding to the list at this time.

It is kind of late to mention this now but Best Buy had some 360 games on sale through Saturday. RE5, Dragon Age Origins and a few others for $35.

Where the heck do you live?! Because at night at my Walmart, you are almost the only non-employee in the store. And even on Black Friday, my Target gets more crowded than Walmart, even though they are right across the street from Walmart and usually don't have as good deals.
Its only competition is K-Mart. Thats all we have there.
No wonder. K-Mart sucks. You pay Target prices for less than Walmart service and selection.

Actually, I had something rather awesome happen on Black Friday.

I visited the Play-N-Trade in Athens, Georgia again while visiting my girlfriend's mom. While there, my girlfriend and I decided to pick up the latest Harvest Moon for the Wii. Unfortunately the staff were unable to locate the game in the store. They had a case out for it, but no game(we were buying it used).

So since they couldn't provide us with the game, they gave us a deal. Instead of paying $30 for Harvest Moon, they offered a new copy of Little King's Story, a $50 game. But they gave us a 20% discount on it, lowering the price to $40, and then marked it as a Used game. They also had a sale going on, where if you bought 2 used games, you got 10% or so taken off the overall price. Since I was buying a couple of SNES games as well, Little King Story received another 10% cut from its original $50 price, so we got it 30% off.

Seriously, if any of you guys live near Athens, GA, or are just passing through, check that Play-N-Trade out. I've been quite happy with them every time I go in. Just keep in mind, since they have limited floor space, certain things are kept in the back of the store, such as their collection of 3DO games.

Isn't that expensive? I mean the standard version over here is £17 now.
