I half-way apologize for this thread, but what exactly are the big games coming out over the next year? I'm not talking about niche schooters and fighters that retro-enthusiasts are looking forward to. I'm asking about the Halos and the Final Fantasys and the other big, popular licenses that have normal people lining up with preorders.
As a retro-gamer, I am pretty oblivious to the current goings-on. For example, Modern Warfare II is a really big deal, but I had never even heard about it until it was mentioned on this forum.
I realize I could probably find this online, but I really don't know what sites people interested in current and future games read.

Well PS3 is getting God of War 3 and Heavy Rain. The 360 is getting Splinter Cell Conviction. Those games seem to be fun.
