Putting together a Game Room
Re: Putting together a Game Room
I would have torn down the closet wall to make the room bigger. Looking real nice though.

I may do that in the future. Because we just purchased the house though I don't have a huge amount of money to spend on this room right now. Shelves were the priority for the time being.Octopod wrote:I would have torn down the closet wall to make the room bigger. Looking real nice though.

Re: Putting together a Game Room
I've finally got some juicy pictures for you guys, so enough of me talking:
An unassuming door leading to something magical.....

Couch's Eye View:

Empty spot on top left is for an NES

Empty spot on top right for Gamecube

Temporary home for my record collection until I need the space for more games:

There are more shevles to put up so things will get spaced out more and some of the stuff you see lying around in cardboard boxes will get unpacked, but its a great start. The next update should be just as exciting.

Alphabetical to boot - congrats on your finished room.
And I am glad to see someone here who has a bigger Gamecube Collection than I do (atleast gamewise, I am fairly certain no one else here has 5 Gamecubes).

There are only a handful of more games I want for the cube and I'll probably shift my focus to another system.

It does feel great to have it operational, but its still not done. I've got to put up the other half of the shelving so I can put out the rest of my games, i also need another AV switch box so that everything can be ready to play at any time and a lot of other little things. I cant wait to get the rest of the cardboard boxes out and dust some things off so that it looks more clean and tidy.Inazuma wrote:Nice collection of games and nice room! Amazing collection. Well worth the wait to see!
Love the gamecube collection, laughed a bit at the 3DO. What's the keyboard system under the N64, SNES, and Dreamcast?
