Is this some sort of ebay tactic? Out of the millions of people that shop ebay is there someone out there that would actually pay this much?! Just look at this jack-knob:

A boy and his blob... only $2800!

Niode wrote:The guides are worthless, as is the players classic Zelda with gray cartridge. The LttP is NOT complete. So his listing is incorrect to boot. LttP should come with a little cheats book and the map to be considered complete. Nowhere in those pictures is that shown, or even mentioned in the listing.
IIRC the original Zelda cart came with a little hint thing too, or maybe it's just the map with the top corners blank I'm thinking about. Maybe that was dropped for the gray. Anyway, yeah, nutty price. Someone was either drunk bidding or just really wanted to get a bunch of stuff in one place and overpaid like crazy.

See, now here's a collection I can see going for its price. It's not something I can afford(though if I could I'd pick it up), but $725 for all the stuff he's put up...oh man.

I'm pretty siked. I own all this stuff, and more.

Just off the top of my head, he's missing a gray and a gold cart of each of the NES games (anyone happen to know which is more rare?, they seem to go back and forth over the years), the GameCube NES/N64 ports, NES/SNES inserts and hint pamphlets, the older Official Nintendo Power guides (LttP, Link's Awakening), Link's Adventure on GBA, the 'not for resale' version of Majora's Mask, the feather stylus for PH, and both the Zelda version GBAsp and DSlite systems.

Geez, I wish it was worth that much...

Tbh neither the gray or gold cartridges are 'rare' they're very common titles having sold thousands on thousands of copies back in the day. The reason they cost more than your average NES game is because of the legacy. They're just games that are in demand, much like Final Fantasy VII is. However the gray cartridge is considered to be worth much less due to it not being a gold cartridge plus it's a re-release. Re-releases, generally are never worth as much as the originals are.
