I finished "Geist" on Gamecube last night. I'm not really a huge FPS person, but I enjoyed this one. There were good adventure elements, and the checkpoints were spaced closely enough to avoid a lot of frustration.

There were a few frustrating sequences, but that's true of most games.

Just beat Nanostray on the DS on Friday. Totally underrated vertical shmup for the DS! Although it is quite short, it get's pretty challenging towards the end. I'm probably going to review it, along with a few Neo-Geo arcade platformers tomorrow if I get the time.

I played the first level of Nanostray 2 today, and was interested to see that they took the horizontal shmup route with this one. If it's as short as the first one was, I should be finished in no time!

I last finished Call of Duty 4. That is the best game I've played since Resident Evil 4. No wonder people say Infinity Ward is better than Treyarch, COD 3 comes nowhere near COD 4 in terms of fun and quality.

I'm gonna re-list Dead Rising. Having done a second playthrough where I rescued every survivor, fought every psychopath, and saw every cutscene I feel as if this time I have really seen the entirety of the game's story.

Hopefully, the next game I add to this topic will be Escape from Monkey Island

Just beat Zelda: Minish Cap. I really liked this game. I have never played any handheld Zelda games because I never had any handhelds - couldn't afford to get any games for the consoles I had so handhelds were out of the question. I recently got a Dingoo and played this game. It is def shorter than other Zelda games and a bit less of a challenge, but I liked the creativity of the Picori and the whole shrinking down to visit another universe thing. For those who like exploring, you get to explore the usual Hyrule and villages, then you get to explore them again as a little dude. Yes it does have Wind Waker style graphics, which I know people hate, but I don't mind them - and I think they work well on a handheld system. Plus, a different story (slightly) and a different enemy, which I know is something people always want.

Next, onto the Oracle games. I am working my way back to the first handheld Zelda. I have always wanted to play them and never thought I'd be able to.

Godfather: Blackhand Ed. for the Wii. It was a good game and an improvement of the XBOX one IMO. The controls worked great and the motion controls were responsive. The game took me about 16 hours to beat (thats 100% completion) which isnt the longest game but it will keep you busy. The story is cool and if you like the Godfather movies you'll like it as well. Once you beat it, you wont really want to play it again which is one of the bad things about it. Overall, its a good game.
