I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to do this only to have my transaction denied twice. I tried once with my debit card which has the money on it. Maybe it failed to verify or its problematic because I am placing the order from Korea to be shipped in the USA. Then I tried paypal and got the message "Your transaction has been declined. Please contact customer support."

Does SEGA not want my money?

Oh and if you use the promotional code: segafans you get 15% off your subscription.

Oh, I'm sure that's not the case!

Good luck signing up! One thing to note for anyone who didn't know, when you sign up for the subscription, it gives you the option to order up to two more extra controllers for about 12 dollars a piece.

Yes that is exactly what I was trying to do, order the 3 month with 1 controller and then 2 more. I have now transferred money from my bank into my paypal account and see if having the funds directly in the account make a difference. I will then ask a close friend from the US to sign up for me using my info. Geez, the hurdles I jump through for you SEGA....

Probably, it's a well known fact that Sega hates Korea.

btw, thanks for the code! :D

So, does the membership automatically renew? i.e. do I have to cancel once I get my gamepad?

Edit: Man, what a hassle that website is. If you plan on ordering from them, turn off NoScript while you do. I had to add about 5 domains to my whitelist before it would go through. Anyway, the membership does renew. I got the 3 month membership with two extra pads (3 in total) for $55 shipped. There are slightly cheaper ones on ebay, but they're not Sega branded. So I'm pleased. Now I just have to remember to cancel when I get the pads.

Before my order failed to go through, here is the page I was shown to review my order:

Now what I find odd is that is says shipping is one off cost, which google has told me means "A cost that is paid once and not repeated" - yet were my order to be successfully placed I would have paid for shipping on 3 accounts. $4.95 for the controller that comes with the 3 months, then $9.90 ($4.95 x 2) for the two additional controllers. Haha.

Yes, you do pay shipping separately for each controller. The "one off cost" only means that it's not a recurring charge like the membership fee is.

Just got my PlaySEGA joypad in the mail today. It's definitely a very nice controller, and works perfectly with emulators and the games that Sega provides on the site. I kinda wish I would have picked up two now. :(

I'm trying to search eBay for "playsega," but the search function keeps changing my keyword to "playset" what's up with that?
