My new bed/game room set up!

Post by GagaMan »

Moved out of my old small bedroom into a bigger room of the house this week. Everything that was crammed into the old room was taken down and placed back up in this new room and worked a treat, only new thing bought was the bed. Now by bed is not surrounded by all these storage units right above me head! :D

The first wall has some shelfs for figures. I've actually packed quite a few away, trying to only have my favorites out though there's so many I like! :)

..past the wardrobe is that Mega Drive/Master System stand I bought a while ago. Wasn't sure if it was going to fit in but it sits in rather nicely! Next to that is my Dreamcast lot. The next big shelf stores my Wii, Gamecube, Playstation 1 + 2, SNES and some more Dreamcast games. On top of that is a storage unit with sliding doors that is the perfect size for Tall Mega CD and Saturn games.

Across from the bed next to the window is another figure shelf of toon and anime characters and whatnot.

This corner of the room is where the most stuff is. The thin dark blue shelf has Mega CD. Japanese Sega Saturn, Amiga CD32, Playstation 3 games and Blu-Rays (and the Treamcast in it's carry case and a Gamecube with a game boy player also sit down here). Other shelfs have DVDs and books. The floor corner at the bottom is for the arcade sticks and novelty controllers. The office draws thingy is for regular controllers to slide open and pick out. I also picked out my Sonic 2 display stand from the loft to fill in the top of the corner wall.

The TV unit and my currently set up systems: Japanese Saturn, Japanese modded Dreamcast (no disc swapping needed), modded Mega Drive, Multi-Mega (for Mega CD games), SNES, Amiga CD32 and Wii. Also have a PAL Dreamcast and PAL Saturn stored here for the time being. Only system not currently set up in here in my Playstation 3.

Considering we only started this move on Sunday I'm really please with the results! :D

Great idea buying that genesis/mega drive stand for the games. My favorite is the POG Tournament Mat on top of your case filled with controllers.

Those blue walls are bright!

Very nice collection and very well organized. I get jealous every time I see that Mega Drive display rack. It is ridiculously awesome. :D

Your room looks like it is made of dreams...

I can only hope to one day aspire to have a room like that. :o

Seconded.

Very cool room. Heaps of cool stuff, but still nice and neat. Very impressive.

I like that Crazy Taxi car! And that Mega Drive stand is pretty spiffy!
