Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Even if it did get damaged in transit, they didn't even try to talk to you first, that's a load of crap.

I wonder if its even the person, or if they got their account hijacked. :(

Well, the dude took it to an Apple store and they gave him a brand new one. Matter settled I guess. Dude gets an ipod and I get to keep my cash. Most of it anyway...damn ebay fees.

Well, I suppose that's sort of a happy ending. Obviously an idiot though if they didn't bother talking to you at all. Glad you're not out the money.

just spend a couple of bucks for insurance at the post office, and you will be safe. i usually include all the potential shipping charges in the value.

be careful sending out your insurance slip, make sure you make a copy for yourself if you have to take that route.

if you print shippng labels online you should be easily able to file a claim online, its easier than doing it in person, but if you go the the office itself you have to go through them.

ebay is VERY strict now, and even minor infractions that arent your fault can destroy your account. they are VERY corporate. it used to be a good community for the sellers, but now its all about the customer and keeping them satisfied for any reason.

ebay is still good, just follow my above advice when selling expensive items such as a ipod.
