Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I found two things at Salvation Army yesterday, which I bought. Call of Duty 4 for PC, complete, near perfect condition, $4. And I found a Super Mario Bros. kids book called "Super Mario Bros. 3: The Secret Bridge" or something like that. It was .25, so I figured I'd get it for laughs. It was unbelievably lame.

not a good deal or anything, but at the game store in the next town over, I got a copy of Cobra Triangle (NES), it was 8 dollars, so a bit more than it's worth, but i like to support the cause

Picked up a copy of Panic Restaurant (NES) for $20. The label's kind of messy, but a nice cart sold for $80 so I should be good on that one. It's actually my second copy of the game, I got a nice cart for $.10 at a thrift store a few years ago.

Hey, I just bought a Gamecube today and will be looking for a component cable shortly. But I'm thinking.. this cable must also work for the Super Nintendo and N64, right?lisalover1 wrote:I just got an awesome deal. I got an official Gamecube Component cable at PnT for $15.

No, the component cable plugs into the digital out on the first version of the Gamecube. It does not plug into the regular multi AV out that is the same on SNES/N64/GC.Weekend_Warrior wrote:Hey, I just bought a Gamecube today and will be looking for a component cable shortly. The good news is that I just checked the black Gamecube I bought today ($50 w/box and instructions in great shape) and it has the two different A/V connections. So that's good

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Japan is going to be your best bet to find a cable unless you get lucky. They still usually got for $50 plus, and of course overseas shipping makes them more expensive. I lucked out and got mine from Canada for about $45 shipped, Lisalover got a great deal for $15.Weekend_Warrior wrote:The good news is that I just checked the black Gamecube I bought today ($50 w/box and instructions in great shape) and it has the two different A/V connections.
