I enjoyed InFamous, and I love Sucker Punch, but even I didn't find the game to be
that special. Just an open-world adventure where you play as a super hero (or villain).
A good Survival Horror game, on the other hand, is something that is pretty rare these days. Most recent Survival Horror games are really just Action Shooter Chattur'gha Bonethieves that take over the bodies of Survival Horror games. Dead Space and Resident Evil 5 may
look like Survival Horror, but make no mistake - they're just shooters.
Granted, I don't think Ju-On will be a good Survival Horror game, but ya know - I can understand someone being more excited for it than yet another Open-World Adventure game.

I think I might be going crazy, but I am starting to see the lack of power on those consoles already. I am not sure if I am just imagining or not. I guess something is missing from the hardcore titles this generation. I am not sure why, although I think 360's library is superb. Maybe I am not playing it enough
The next generation won't be coming for quite a long time (I'd hope). For the most part, this gen of systems is going to try to extend itself with things like Natal. As for a lack of hardcore titles with the consoles of this gen - did you somehow miss Demon's Souls? Seriously - that game is as hardcore as it gets. I didn't turn off my electric smiles machine for about 2 weeks straight.
If you want hardcore games this generation, you need to stop looking at Brick 'N Mortars (although they can be found there if you look in the right places) and start looking on Steam, XBLA and PSN.
