Bioshock has to be the most recent one. A ridiculous FMV and to top it all off.....no credits whatsoever, the game just cuts to the main menu. Appalling.

i feel like the ending to most "arcadey" games are pretty unfulfilling. layer section comes to mind. the ending to valis III is awesome though.

Shinobi for the SMS. Sure, the arcade ending wasn't anything to shout about, but the SMS ending was terrible:

It's a tie between Knights Of The Old Republic 2 or Fable 2. Both were sooo lame.

Ya know what nvm it goes to Fable 2 at least KOTOR 2 had a boss battle at the end.

i just didn't get it at first. it was frustrating. it's weird because as i was playing the game i'd get stuck in a puzzle and get all pissed off and turn the game off. then i'd think about it. for days. then i'd come back, and i'd get it.

i did the same thing with the ending.

Basketball Nightmare, Sega Master System.

I worked my arse off to finish that game as a kid, and despite the involved story all you get is a montage of dunks (which you see during the game anyway, so it's not extra animation) and a "thank you" message.

Totally not worth the effort.

LeChucks Revenge, Fuck I hated that shit, and it was completely ignored in the Curse Of Monkey Island.
