game ending that pissed you off the most!!!!!

What game did you beat after all that hard work of saving and password writing and kept pushing the continue button or leaving the damn system on overnight on pause to keep playing the next day gave you such a horrible ending????? For me it either had to be karnov or bad dudes for the nes that got me. As a kid i used to play bad dudes and karnov all the time at the arcades but even though i would make near the last level i never beat the game i would always run out of quarters or tokens. So go back to 1989 and i would get my copies of these games for the nes. I couldnt wait to play them. Even though they looked nothing like the actual arcade versions but i played them until i beat them i was so excited and then i saw the endings. WTF!!!!! Karnov all that hard work and all i got was a congrats and bad dudes a pic of the president who looks likes ronald regean that says lets get a burger? What???? Did anyone else get this frustrated please comment and share your pain with the rest of us

while it not so much as the ending i hated but...well ill just tell my story... if anyone has played kingdom hearts and beaten the game they know that they can save afterward and go against extra bosses. well i owned the greatest hits version and i was getting excited! well it turns out that in the greatest hits version you can't save at the end (or it could just of been my copy). but just to make sure i wasn't being an idiot i went back to my last save point again and finished the last section of the game. once again no save option. that really pissed me off.

I usually don't give a rat's ass about endings but I still found Halo 2's "ending" a disgrace. Especially because Halo 3 never made it to PC.

Commander Keen 6's ending upset me. Because I know I'll probably never get to know the ending of the series, since CK 7 has been in limbo so long.

I came in here to say something snark along the lines of "Well, someone just name a Halo game."...because, ya know, they each have the most uninspired, mediocre, "let's just cut this here and call it a day' endings I've ever experienced.

But it's already been done.


In fact, now that I'm sitting here reflecting, I realize I was actually less pissed than when I found out SMB 2 was just Mario's dream.

I like it that Modern Warfare 2's ending was exactly the same as the first one. But what really pissed me off in that game was every single person I controlled dying.
