Thats a little bizzare :) I'm getting there at 3am Friday morning, I'm not waiting overnight, i'm not that desperate to save money.

It's to prevent stampedes and other hazards, plus they're a 24h store so it makes sense to allow customers the ability to wait inside instead of running in at a fever pitched rush at 5AM.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Mine is a 24hr store as well, but I still don't feel like standing for 7 hours to get a couple PS3 games. I wonder if I can bring a foldable chair? :D

I guess they figure having a bunch if crazy shoppers sleeping in the store is better than making them sleep outside and then getting trampled to death letting them in.
Comics, RPG's, miniatures, and now retrogaming? I guess its time to learn to go without eating...

Here are the game deals that interested me

Assassins Creed II (360/PS3)-$60 with $10 Gift Card-Target
Modern Warefare 2 (360/PS3)-$60 with $10 Gift Card-Target
Batman: Arkham Asylum (360/PS3)-$37-Target
Halo 3 ODST-$34.99-Toys R US
Left 4 Dead 2 (360)-$34.99-Best Buy
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (Wii)-$25-Walmart

The one game I wanted extremely bad this year was Uncharted 2, and it looks like nobody has it on sale :(

GoGamer is having a reasonably good sale. It's kind of a mixed bag. There's some good stuff buried in there though:

Also, impulse added Sins of a Solar Empire to their sale for just $10 bucks!
