Re: My Famicom Stuff
I'm jealous that your Famicoms are white, mine is a nasty faded brownish color.

Re: My Famicom Stuff
It'd be awesome if the NES carts kept the same cartridge size, pin numbers, and labels of the Famicom, but the consistent gray color and side grooves of the original NES cart design - the best of both worlds!GSZX1337 wrote:Man, every time I see a Famicom game, I think "Why couldn't our NES carts look like those?"
Oh... *travels to off-topic land* This gives me a pretty wild, interesting idea! There are people who do NES reproduction carts, right? Has anyone ever done Famicom repros, or NES repros in the Famicom cart format, with no need for a pin adapter? Could there actually be a way to MAKE an NES cart that has the overall design of an NES cart, but with the Famicom cart's specs?
Anyway, back on track - after seeing the close-up pic, there are quite a few games here I recognize (and wish I had...) Ducktales 2 especially... Is the Famicom version as rare and expensive as the NES version? Or is it more common?

Ducktails 2, as far as I know, is relatively common here. I see it occasionally. Rescue Rangers (and the sequel) seems to be rare, though. I never see it.Yukima wrote:Ducktales 2 especially... Is the Famicom version as rare and expensive as the NES version? Or is it more common?
