My Famicom Stuff

Post by Breetai »

This is my personal collection of Famicom stuff I've gathered over the past year or so. I don't actively search for this stuff, but just pick it up when I come across it for cheap. I bought one unmarked box of stuff when a shop was clearing some of its retro stuff out, which is why I have multiples of Castlevania, Mario Golf and F1 Race (Volleyball also has a second Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka. Lost Levels) on its 'B-side')." Strangely, I've never bothered to pick up a Disk System, even though I've come across them for good prices many times.

I'm considering selling a lot, possibly all, of this stuff... but I'm not sure yet. I might keep one Famicom and some choice games... but, who knows (the top-loader and 2 original FCs will definitely be for sale when I get around to it)! If I sell some stuff (definitely some FDS games at least), it's be up on this site for sure. PMs are welcome of course, but no guarantees yet. Then again, if someone offers me something like $1000 for all... haha, take it! I come across Zelda II a lot for some reason, but rarely see the FDS version of Zelda 1... yet I do see the cartridge version of it quite a bit. I've had them both on the NES since I was a kid, so I'm definitely not missing out.

Well, have fun drooling (or laughing at me because you have way more Famicom stuff than me!). :)

*drools*

That is a LOT of Famicom stuff!! I'm actually looking out for either a Famicom with an FDS or Famicom AV among other things. I do have an NES, but only a handful of NES games, and one Famicom game (Lagrange Point) that I can't play anyway even with a pin adapter. I'm not actively searching for NES/Famicom stuff, though - Super Famicom stuff is higher priority with me.

This stuff is really cool. I am rather inexperienced in Famicomery. I'd love to see some close up shots of some of it.

Very nice collection. I've always wanted one of the second model Famicoms. That one in the picture supports AV right?

Here you are, my Russian friend. Fantasy Zone II and Batman have a bit too much flash on them, but oh well.
The white Hudson game at the top is XEXYZ. I really like that game for some reason.

Man, every time I see a Famicom game, I think "Why couldn't our NES carts look like those?"
