Re: dsheinem's new & improved collection thread STAGE 2-NINTENDO
Nope - no SNES, no Game Boy. I've owned both at different points, but got rid of them in the past few years because...
I haven't played the actual Game Boy much at all since I was a kid and it was newer. In fact, at various points I have owned the GB, GBC, GBA, GG, NGPC, and Game.com - with the possible exception of the GBA, I never could stand the screens on any portable and so giving them up was not a hard decision. I now have both of the current portables on the market (a DS lite and a PSP-2000) and prefer to emulate all my portable gaming on those (especially on the PSP). The screens are so much better, the systems are more comfortable to hold, and I don't have to worry about switching out tiny carts.
As for the SNES - I just couldn't ever really get into the SNES library outside of a maybe 5-6 exclusive titles. I am not a huge RPG gamer, so maybe that is part of it. I also had a Genesis growing up and prefer most cross-platform titles on that system (even if they are sometimes inferior). That said, I wouldn't be adverse to picking one up again in the future - but for now I'm just not interested in the SNES.

Personally the GB/GBA is pretty much my favorite system. HOWEVER, I hate tiny screens myself so 99% of my playing is done via the Gamecube GBPlayer. I do love me some tiny carts, though!

Re: dsheinem's collection STAGE 5:PC-O2-controls/guides+Madden?!
So since you have all those Madden games, I'm sure you can be the judge- has the gameplay changed beyond new rosters and updated graphics any?
