Wii Komodo Adaptor - NES/SNES
So these finally were released missing the N64 port. I got to goof off with one in Mario Land (Gameboy Player) and Chaosfield with an NES controller and Soul Calibur 2 with a SNES controller, and I am cross. Mario Land required unusually hard button presses where as Chaosfield played fine. SC2 was simply a mess - I was unable to push the button fast enough to achieve a combo. I am going to chalk this up to bad controllers and hopefully give a real test tonight. Any games yall would like me to test. Wii, Gamecube, VC/Homebrew?
I do hope it works well in that I was planning on buying several more (gifts and personal use).
Anyone else get to play with one yet?

I live nowhere near a PNT. How much did it run ya? I was thinking of just getting a SNES-->Gamecube RetroPort myself.

Lucky you. I only just recently found a PnT in my area, and I would have been amazed to find one of these. If there were any more, I'd gladly buy one from you.fastbilly1 wrote:Play n Trade got 8 in yesterday night.

Re: Wii Komodo Adaptor - NES/SNES
Pephary they are at Peachtree Corners.
I gave mine a fairly decent barrage of tests when I got home:
FCE Ultra - Super Mario Bros 2
FCE Ultra - Contra
SNES9xgx - Contra 3
VC - Bomberman 93
VC - Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels
Wiiware - Dr Mario
And I have mix feelings about it. There is input lag on everything with both controllers. Sometimes it is so small that you can ignore it - Bomberman 93, and sometimes it is just terrible - Dr Mario. I was planning on getting two for SNES games but the input lag is bad enough that I just dont see that happening (I must say the input lag on the NES controller was far worse than SNES). Any titles yall want me to try them on? I have most of the popular Wii and Gamecube games.
Right now I am going to say dont buy one, but Ill give it the full test on Thursday when my extended family is going to get together to blow the hell out of eachother.
Controllers used were an official NES controller and an official Super Famicom controller.

Does yours not have the N64 controller input? I thought it was suppose to include that also. The classic controller is similiar enough for nes and snes games so I wouldn't bother. Now with N64 games it would be a different story. You should try the video game staples like any and all mario bros. titles. I always wanted to play genesis games with a SNES pad try some of those like Sonic. Did you play any Wii games with it yet, if not try Smash bros. if it works for that game.

Re: Wii Komodo Adaptor - NES/SNES
They dropped N64 input - which is why I was looking at two instead of four.
I have not played a Wii game with it yet, but Ill give Brawl a go. I was also planning on Accent Core (plus) and Muramasa.
