Playing Dreamcast online

I know you have to have Dial-Up or the Broadband Adapter. Is there any other way to get online using DSL?

There was a clever method to use your Dreamcast's dial up modem. I think it was a little complicated, but basically you run a phone line from your DC modem to a modem in your PC and get it to use your PC's internet (so in your case it would be DSL). I'm sure some one will have a link on how to do it and more info.

edit: Oh yeah, Racketboy had a post about it...

Yes, you can use the modem to connect to a PC running Win98 or Linux and have the PC route your DC to the internet.

I too have a dreamcast and never had the chance to play online. I own a street fighter compilation filled with some online option.

Just put 98 in a virtual box. The software that lets me dump ISOs onto a hard drive in my PS2 doesn't work in Vista so I run XP in a virtual box to do it.
