Happy 15th Birthday, Sega Saturn!

Post by Tongara »

The Sega Saturn was released in Japan on November 22, 1994, making it 15 years old today. Rejoice and celebrate the birthday of what some would call the best console ever to be made!

I'm going to write a blog post on it later, and then get down to some serious Saturn playing all through the night! :)

I actually happened to play some Panzer Dragoon last night. Still can't get past that 4th boss. He really sucks up the damage.

I got SF Zero 2 out last night so I'm covered with my celebration gameplay.

It makes me feel old thinking this happened 15 years ago.

Played through Night Striker S, Duke Nukem 3D and made a Virtual On instructional video to celebrate... well, really I had no idea it was the Saturn's b-day today. I played the games regardless...

I played a Saturn for the first time last week. I would have waited until today if I knew about the birthday. In any case, happy birthday, you delightful failure.
