What the heck was everyone complaining about? It's perfect! What's more, the PS2-to-PS3 adapters it comes with are perfect for using those awesome Street Fighter fight pads.
All this 'input lag' speak seems to be a great deal of bologna. I've been able to pull off everything flawlessly, whether with my SF fight pads or the X-Arcade itself. It has not stifled my abilities at all.
Just wanted to get that out there, and confirm to all of you that you probably shouldn't take everything the hoi polloi at Shoryuken say as Bible Truth.
Just got X-Arcade adapter for PS3, and I gotta say...

Re: Just got X-Arcade adapter for PS3, and I gotta say...
shit I just used an old PS2 - USB adapter and it worked fine enough for me. Then again I don't think ANY of us here are trying to pull off 1 frame links.
When I was at Evolution Daigo and his japanese counterpart were bitching about lag on TV's no one could even see/feel. I was in his pool and played on the same set-up. Sure enough put him on a good CRT and he was able to execute links that were not possible on the other display. I watched it happen right there, and was amazed he could notice it and his reaction times were so good it actually made a difference.
Point taken though, none of us are Daigo! Unless you are playing a game all day long everyday and have muscle memory dedicated to one type of set-up ( i.e. SF4 arcade cabinets or TE stick) this type of stuff just doesn't matter.
