I need help!
I am headed to Japan in around a month and its collecting time. I've been the last 2 years and each time I grabbed lots of Saturn and Dreamcast games amongst other stuff. Now that I have around 100 Japanese Sega games its getting harder to know which ones to add to the collection! Please list you 5 favorite Japanese Sega games sorted by Sega Console or by game genre's. I bet there are some great games I don't have any clue about! Soundtracks or swag related Sega stuff is always acceptable!

Get a PC Engine Duo RX if you can. That one comes with a six button controller.marurun wrote:Pick up a PC Engine Duo, dude! Do it! Do it!

But if you do go to Japan, def get some PC Engine stuff.
Oh, and get a Japanese light gun for your Saturn. They are ten times cooler than the American ones.

Unless you are going to play Street Fighter 2' (cartridge only), Flash Hiders, or are going to buy an Arcade Card and play the Neo Geo ports, you absolutely do not need the 6-button controller. Not at all. A Duo R would be just a hair cheaper and just as fine a catch.
As for great Saturn imports, Racketboy listed all the really high-profile ones.
If you have, or can come across, a 4 MEG RAM cart, pick up one or both of the VS games and/or Street Fighter Alpha 3. The Saturn version is generally considered the best port. Samurai Shodown IV is also pretty cool. If shooters are your thing I absolutely recommend Thunderforce V or Soukyugurentai as those are, IMO, the best 2 on the system.

hehe thnx guys! I already have a Duo and all the fixins
My first trip my mission was to get SF2' and Fighting Street with a DUO amongst many other things. I am a hardcore SF2 collector, I have to have every version from every region! Everytime I go I definately get a few Hu-Cards and some Super CD-Roms. Arcade Cards are hard to find, I need one of those.
Thanks for the pointers, I'll research the ones I haven't heard of. More please!
