Expensive / Rare Super Famicom Games
While looking around the shops in Korea for games I've noticed a fair amount of legit Super Famicom stuff and all of the old stuff is universally priced. Maybe $5 or $10 for any game as opposed to being priced individually.
I saw Chrono Trigger and some of the Final Fantasy games, but from my understanding I don't think those are worth what they are in the states.
So which Super Famicom games sell for quite a bit? Maybe in the $60+ range
I've read the Rare and Valuable Super Nintendo Games article, but those prices are mostly for US releases. I read through all of the comments, but only really saw about 4 Super Famicom games that people mentioned.
I might be able to find Rendering Ranger R2 in Korea, but not the other 2 mentioned.
In the comments people mentioned: Umihara Kawase, yu yu hakusho, dragon ball z, and gundam, any more information on those?
Any others I should keep an eye out for?

Re: Expensive / Rare Super Famicom Games
Hope this list gets you started. I stared looking for SFC games and these are usually the most expensive. Some can be had for less then $60 but I have seen them sell for higher.
Magical pop'n
Do Re Mi Fantasy
the Amazing Spider-man: Leathal Foes ( not the same as the us game of similiar name)
the Firemen: Danny and Pete
Undercover Cops
Final Fight Tough
Captain Commando
Majyuuou
FIRE EMBLEM THRACIA
TMNT Turtles in Time
Akumajou Dracula XX
IRON COMMANDO
HYPER IRIA
R2
Nankoku Shounen Papuwa-kun
the Great Battle V
Rushing Beat Shura
Umihara Kawase
Sutte Hakkun (this one I usually seen the most expensive)
Machen Adventure Cotton 100%
as for yu yu hakusho, dragon ball z, and gundam, non of those series I have seen at the $60 range but that could be because I have't seen every title for sale. Generally these are some of the cheaper titles. I could never find anyone selling Yuu Yuu Hakusho Final- Makai Saikyou Ratuden or Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension maybe those are rare. Now some of the common rpgs are at that price if they are limited editions or director's cut and boxed.

I think rockman and forte is worth about $40 in the states. I also think majuu ou is a rare find, took me about 3 months to find a copy on ebay and i paid around $50 for it. Hope that helps some.

If you see it at $50 I will buy it otherwise $180 is the cheapest I have seen it listed. I did see it sell cheaper during an auction but thats it.

Ive seen it boxed for alot more, but Ive seen it loose for $50 more than once. I was going to pay $40, but next $50 I see I guess I am all in. Actually I think Mad-Gear has a copy in stock right now for $60 or 70.

I'll have to give that list a good look over and find some images of the cartridges for each game so I can recognize them in the event the place has any of them.
Thank you!

Interesting, so while looking into Fire Emblem Thracia I learned about the Nintendo Power cartridges it was only (i think) available on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Power_(cartridge)

Super Back to the Future Part II seems to be on the harder to find side. I had to look around for several years (well, when I wasn't in the middle of moving cross-country and whatnot) before finally finding my copy.

Re: Expensive / Rare Super Famicom Games
I picked up a complete super famicom copy of Captain Commando today.
The guy might have a lot more games, but everything is like in his tiny stall behind the counter. So I can't just browse through the games on my own. Everything behind the counter is boxed and then stuff under the counter (under glass) is cart only, but they are layered in a way that makes them impossible to read.
Language barrier makes it difficult to ask for certain things and even when I had my friend with me today it seemed "wrong" to ask for games because of the large possibility he wouldn't have them. Maybe next time I'll go through everything under the glass and or ask to go behind the counter.
