Man, this game is great. I wish they would bring back the Takooni suit though, and had more variety in regards to powerups. I really shouldn't complain though, its fantastic. I love how the didn't dumb it down with overly easy levels, keeping the challege level reasonable. Its not as deep as I remember Super Mario World was, but a great game in its own right. Great job Nintendo, its great to see you still have time for us OGs as well.

I have played it multiplayer and single and am loving it so far it feels just like a mario game should. The only thing I don't like so far is mario seems a little weighty (too much pasta with extra meatballs I guess) so he doesn't stop real quick and it takes a little bit to get going fast. I also don't like that you have to hold a button to pick up an item and release the button to throw. I would rather press to pick up and press again to throw. I love that the Koopa kids are back but how did they get the wands they stole from the kings in mario 3 back. Over all I consider this game a must buy for Wii owners.

But you know what this game made me think about. What if nintendo released a new Mario All Stars for the Wii. It could include enhanced versions of all the mario platformers up to mario 64 including the GB titles. Now who wouldn't buy that. Nintendo would win and we would win.

100% Sure I will get it. It sold half a million the first day from preorder.

Seems like we have a winner.

Nintendo should start making another one right away.

Yup yup. But they have their hands full with Mario Galaxy 2 and Zelda.

agreed. Got a little bored playing single player and switched back to dragon age. That isn't to say it is a bad game, it is just something i'd like to play with a few more people.

Played the game for about 10 mins at Play-N-Trade and man this game is FUN! I would imagine playing this with 3 other people would be even better. I've been on a recent mario fix and this might quench it.

I was playing it on 2 player for the first time last night. It's a lot of fun, but makes the game harder. The other player can easily kill you when you're both trying to do timed jumps. I found it was easier to pick up the second player for those precision jumps so you don't end up run into one another.

Looks like there is already a level editor released by the homebrewers. If they give us the Tanooki and Boot I am sure most people will be happy, I want Mario 2 stages, movement, and controls.
