haha. Ever since I got Donkey Kong and Punch-Out!! in Animal Crossing, that's all I do. And my neighbors hate me. And my house has spiders. And I haven't gone to work for Tom Nook in about a year.

The Game Cube version. This was before Nintendo released their NES Classics on the GBA and realized that they could make money off of their back catalogue.dgamemuster wrote:what version of animal crossing is this?
This was in my opinion, by far the best game in the series. Seriously. It has so much charm. Whenever I play one of the new Animal Crossing games it just feels like it's trying to be this game. I imagine I've put in at least a couple thousand hours on this game. I've probably spent a thousand more just watching my friends and siblings play. I had played this a TON before this, but the summer before I moved away from home and went to college I used to spend 4 or so nights a week at my best friend's house during which we'd play this game nearly all day every day. I have such fond memories of falling asleep to the title music. Even today when I go to visit or he comes up here we usually turn it on before we go to bed.
There's so much to see and do that even after all the time I've spent with the game I know I still haven't seen it all. Not that there's a TON to do on any given day, it's just that there's so many things that don't make sense or seem to come out of nowhere that it's impossible to play for more than a few days before something will happen that will totally blow your mind. I know this game probably doesn't click with other people like it does with me, but I absolutely adore it. I'd say that I think about it on an almost daily basis. I had to leave it at home when I left because I feared it continuing to consume my life. Next to Link's Awakening (the game that really opened my eyes to video games and started my love for them), I'd have to say that this is my favorite game. Just thinking about it makes me so happy that I feel like crying.
Not too related, but it reminded me of this video - link
God I love this game so much.

yeah the Gamecube version rules. I played it so much when it first came out. And nowadays, it's basically just a little NES library for me. It's great.
