Fav. Gaming Beverages and/or Snacks?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Coke and Pepsi are midstream, Mountain Dew is the hardcore Soda of choice. ;)

I'd drink it, if I wanted something bland.

I went to the building were the recipe for Pepsi was stolen, er ah, made. It's in New Bern, NC, and boy oh boy is it boring. If if you ever drive from SC to New Bern NC you'll see Billboards in the following order:

Pepsi, Born in the Carolinas

Pepsi, Born in North Carolina

Pepsi, Born in Eastern North Carolina

Pepsi, Born in New Bern

Mr. Pibb = awesome

Pibb Extra = tastes flat and syrupy and disgusting. Why'd they ever change it?

Dr. Pepper is the nation's oldest soda. and by far the tastiest!

As a former Mr.Pibb enthusiast, I really haven't noticed a difference other than the marketing. The only time I drink soda is either on a road trip or at the movies, so possibly since I've never had a new 2 liter of Pibb Xtra, I can't taste the difference.

As a kid, my wife always made "suicides", a little bit of soda from every tap.

I don't snack when I play games cuz I dont want to get foodstuffs on the controller.

Beer goes good with any game though.

I don't get that, Luke.

You're all like "Oh yeah, I beat Blaster Master last night" or "I just beat Contra 4 on my third try", or "I just beat Battletoads with my feet". How can you do that while drinking beer?

See I cant drink much beer - hops does bad things to my gut. So I am more of a wine guy. However that has gotten many laughs from my friends in that I would rather have a glass of wine when gaming to a beer. However if the occasion calls for it, I will nurse a microbrew all night.
