Time Gal GBA fan port

Post by noiseredux »

Apparently some dude ported Time Gal to GBA back in 2003 but never released it. But then I heard rumors that it was recently leaked. But I can't find it. Also, I heard something about it being 200kb too big to fit on a GBA cart (but surely it could fit on a SD flash cart, right? Or I missing something?) Anybody have better or more clear info? Anybody actually find it or have played it?

32 MB is the largest size for a GBA cart (256 Mbits). Mother 3 is one of the games that hits this size, and I know some early GBA flash carts have problems with it.

No, you can't. The gba game cartridge is max at 32mb. Even if you have a flash card (which i have under the supercard minisd) they won't read a game that is bigger than that. So, for this game, it can play only on the emulator.

I'm sure someone talented enough could go in and clean up the code to make it smaller/remove any unnecessary data.

Truncate it to exactly 256 Mbits. That'd fix it.
